Privacy and Terms of Use

Welcome to Therapy at Promise please take some time to read through the following information.  If you choose to have support with a Therapist, it's important that you agree with our terms and conditions.  If you are unsure about anything, then please do get in touch with us.

Peer Listening is not therapy.  Your Peer Listener shares their own personal experience of recovery to support you to overcome your difficulties.  They may share strategies & techniques that they have learnt along the way.  They will provide you with support & will be there to listen to you.

Our Courses are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy based self-help guides & shouldn't be considered as traditional therapy or treatment.   If you choose to have therapy with Instant Messaging with your Course, the feedback you receive from your Therapist is intended as support & guidance to help you to complete your Course & for you to overcome your difficulties.

We do not provide diagnostic or medical treatment.

If you are feeling suicidal we strongly ask that you to get in touch with your nearest mental health emergency provider.  Here are some helpful contacts for you if you are feeing in crisis.
